Privacy Policy

The short version

We use privacy-first, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful, and some links on the site are affiliate links that help fund the guide. That is essentially it. We do not run advertising networks, we do not require accounts, and we do not track you across other websites.

Analytics we use

We use a lightweight, cookieless analytics tool that runs on our own infrastructure. It does not store your IP address and does not set tracking cookies. Visits are counted using a rotating, anonymous daily identifier, so we can see totals such as page views and popular pages, but not who you are.

This data is aggregate. It tells us that a page was visited, not which individual visited it.

Cookies

Pamukkale.io itself sets essentially no cookies. If you click an affiliate link and continue to a partner's website, that partner may set its own cookies on its own site to record that the visit came from us (see the next section). Those cookies live on the partner's domain, under the partner's control, not ours.

Affiliate links and click tracking

Some links on this site, for example flight, transfer, tour, ticket, insurance or eSIM options, are affiliate links provided through Travelpayouts and its partner programs. When you click one, a small tracking script and the partner's site may record that the click came from Pamukkale.io, so that if you book something we may earn a commission.

This costs you nothing extra, and it does not change the price you pay. It is how the guide stays free. We only link to services we consider genuinely useful for planning a Pamukkale trip.

Third-party services

When you use an affiliate link or interact with an embedded service, you are also subject to that provider's own privacy policy. This includes our analytics provider and affiliate partners such as flight, transfer and activity platforms. We encourage you to read their policies for details on what they collect.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can use your browser's tracking-protection or 'Do Not Track' features. Because our own analytics is cookieless and anonymous, blocking cookies will not break the site.

Data retention

We keep only aggregate analytics and, where a partner reports it, anonymous conversion data. We do not maintain a database of individual visitors.

Children

This site is a general travel guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
